- בָּזַז(b. h.; √בז to divide, cmp. בְּזָא II, בְּזַע, בִּזְבֵּז, בָּצַע) to distribute, to make spoil. Y.Macc. II, 31d bot. היה בוֹזֵז made booty.Part. pass. בָּזוּז, f. בְּזוּזָה robbed, illegitimately conquered. Gen. R. s. 1 ב׳ היא בידכם it is robbery what ye possess (ye have no title).
